Remembering Stanley Fischer zl, Economist and Former Bank of Israel Chief
REMEMBERING STANLEY FISCHER Z"L, ECONOMIST AND FORMER BANK OF ISRAEL CHIEF
In 2014, JTS awarded an honorary degree to Stanley Fischer. During the commencement ceremony, Chancellor Emeritus Eisen called Fischer an "eminent leader promoting economic welfare around the globe." He also noted that his "contributions to the state of Israel are truly remarkable."
