From the Desk of Rabbi Joel Seltzer
JTS Commencement

Dear JTS Community,

Just over a month ago, we rejoiced as JTS conferred nearly one hundred academic degrees on our extraordinary students and honorary degree recipients. Commencement marked the culmination of years of hard work, intensive scholarship, and self-discovery, all under the guidance of our dedicated faculty, administration, and staff.

Recent graduates from our Rabbinical School and H. L. Miller Cantorial School have already begun serving as leaders in synagogue communities in Overland Park, Kansas; Marietta, Georgia; Ithaca, New York; Westport, Connecticut; Wynnewood, Pennsylvania; Port Washington, New York; Sarasota, Florida; Greenwich, Connecticut; and other locations across the world.

Graduates from our William Davidson Graduate School of Jewish Education have taken on roles as teachers in Jewish day schools, education directors in congregational settings, program directors at educational agencies, and CEOs of not-for-profit organizations. These Jewish professionals are poised to create a lifetime of positive change in their communities.

Several List College graduates will begin graduate programs in education and psychology this September while others are entering the work force in Jewish not-for-profit organizations that support Israel and Jewish life on campus, as well as in corporate positions in technology and finance. We are proud of all our graduates and are excited to see the impact they will make on our world.

Before the fiscal year ends on June 30th, we invite you to honor our students, faculty, and staff by making a gift to the JTS Fund. Your support helps provide financial aid to our students and sustains our academic programs. By investing in JTS, you are investing in a brighter future.

Todah Rabbah,

Rabbi Joel Seltzer
